| White Oaks Mall is the very first mall for Springfield, Illinois. It has grown through the years and become an anchor for the west side growth in Springfield, Illinois. It has a large numbers of stores, and even though it has seen some major players come and go, it still is the best mall in Central Illinois. They always have special events at the Mall and it's holday decorations at Christmas are worth the visit alone. The food court has grown and improved with a large variety of stores as well.
